Is amd turion x2 mobile processor just as good as the new intels?
The laptop will have 4gb ram and 320gb Hard Drive. It has the amd turion x2 moblie processor. Besides the fact that intel is more power efficient, is amd still as good and fast as the intel? (laptop will be used for school work, office work, and Internet)
Your specs seem well enough for school work, any Dual Core processor is sufficient for multitasking. The only difference would be power consumption as you stated. AMD does actually deliver higher performance though.
