Will a Dual Core Processor work on a Core 2 Duo Motherboard?
I want to buy a new motherboard, currently I have a Asus IPIBL-LB motherboard and a Intel Dual Core E2220.
I am planning on getting a better motherboard, but most don’t mention “Dual Core” support, however they mention “Core 2 Duo” support.
So I wanted to know if a Dual Core Processor will work on a Core 2 Duo supported motherboard since they are nearly the same.
