What’s the difference between the regular Amd Phenom II X4 965 and the Black Edition?
Is there a good comparison chart somewhere?
They are the same processor physically. Just one has an unlocked multiplier to allow for a lot of overclocking headroom. Though…i didnt know that there was a Phenom Ii X4 965 that wasn’t a Black Edition. So if you found a Phenom II X4 965 that isn’t a Black Edition somewhere I would like to know where.
@ Simon – My Phenom II 940 came with a stock cooler (the only one i have ever seen with heatpipes in it) Looked cool…but I didn’t use it on mine as I got a Xigmatek HDT-S1294 Cooler. Instead I put my Stock cooler on my sis-in-law’s Athlon X2 4200+
