Is there any Intel Quad core processor with cache size of 1TB?
Heard from my friend saying that he got a computer with Intel’s quad core processor (not sure if it is Core 2 Quad or other series), and he said that the cache size is 1TB. I found this claim rather ridiculous though, because for most people, we don’t even have 1TB in our Hard Drive. So is there really any processor on market with 1TB cache?
There is no CPU has 1TB of cache memory.
If there is 1TB of cache memory, it’s price could be millions or billions of dollars.
Do you know why CPU is expensive? Because the CPU has cache memory.
Price order: Hard Disk Drive(the most cheap) < RAM(medium) < Cache(the most expensive)
Speed order: Hard Disk Drive(the slowest) < RAM < Cache(the fastest)
