If you are comparing low budget laptop processors there isn’t much differance. The dual core intel is an adaquate but underpowered budget chip. The Turion is much the same a budget chip for the AMD brand. Keep in mind that the Intel plain dual core, isn’t a core2duo chip. At the same time that these two processors aren’t speed demons they aren’t Power hogs either, which makes them very user friendly in laptop situations…
