Asus M2NPV-VM – ATI xpress 1250 (amd 690) comes with HDMI + smart shader 2
Asus M2A-VM – Nvidia 6150 (nforce 430) comes with with DVI, composite, HD out + smart shader 3
i think both are using directx 9c ..
but ati using pixel shader / vertex shader 2 while
nvidia using pixel shader / vertex shader 3

AM2 with Nvidia. Then drop in Nvidia 7GT series card.
Yes they both have DirectX9
