How can i integrate windows media player 10 with all it’s features into win xp source files?
I’m interested to make a compact as possible win xp installation source,Greek version.I’m not interested about an automated-unattended installation,so i want to integrate the Greek wmp 10 with all it’s features directly into win xp files like a service pack or a hotfix,replacing wmp 9.
I know you can take a windows xp (no service pack) and streamline sp1 or 2 into it and burn a new cd. When windows xp has a service pack 3, windows media player 10 or 11 should be in it. I would use this way to make a new disc. Service pack 3 should be out early – mid this year.
And you can do the same thing with the windows media player installation i think.
Copy the i386 folder from your windows cd somewhere; lets say c:\i386.
Download media player 10 setup
http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/9/8/29859b08-054f-4ca3-8fcf-d6b5c51c0c11/windowsmedia10-kb884373-x86-enu.exe
Save it to the same folder as mediaplayer10.exe
Go to start, run, type cmd and press enter.

press enter
